A Win for the Little Guy - Comcast to Back out of TWC Merger

It appears that cable giant Comcast sees the writing on the wall and is ready to call off their merger with Time Warner Cable, according to a Bloomberg report.

The merger would have basically made Comcast a monopoly and given them control of nearly 60% of the broadband market. 

Bloomberg says that an announcement could come as early as Friday, but that Comcast has already decided to drop the merger plans.

This is a huge win for the little guy and a big setback for Comcast.
