It's Not Really Here....

KNBC debuted some new fancy weather graphics yesterday, but it was a bit confusing to some viewers.

Weather Anchor Anthony Yanez showed off the "Augmented Reality" by saying, "as you can see, it's not really here."

Ummmm.... no...what we see is it is there.

We debuted 'Augmented Reality' today on our noon show at NBCLA. It's another tool we have to share the weather story with you. There is no Chroma key, the graphic simply appears on screen. What do you think?
