Napoli Clients On the Move

Napoli Management Group has a number of their clients moving into new gigs.

Michaela Pereira is promoted to co-host on CNN’s “New Day” morning show.  Michaela began with CNN in June of 2013 as the news anchor.

Ryan Young joins CNN as a correspondent based in Chicago.  For the past nine years, Ryan had been a reporter for WSB in Atlanta where he had broken several high-profile stories over the years.

Alex Pena joins CBS News in New York as a digital journalist and associate producer.  A one-man band freelance contributor to several networks, Alex most recently spent a year in Afghanistan as an embed correspondent for “Stars and Stripes.”

AJ Ross becomes a full-time staff MMJ with WABC in New York only three months after beginning as a freelance MMJ for the station.

Jasmine Viel moves to Los Angeles and becomes a freelance reporter for KCBS.  Previously, she was the primary anchor for KION in Salinas/Monterey.

Russ McCaskey joins the CBS O&O KTVT-TV in Dallas as morning anchor.  Russ leaves KJRH in Tulsa where he has been primary and morning anchor since 2000.

Sam Brock is promoted to the weekday morning anchor at KNTV in San Francisco.  He also continues to report for Reality Check, a weekly franchise that airs during NBC Bay Area News at 6pm.

Ryan Kath, investigative reporter and winner of the prestigious Alfred I. duPont Award, moves to WBZ in Boston.  Boston is a return for him having gotten his Master’s Degree from BU.  He leaves KSHB in Kansas City where he broke many stories as one of their investigative reporters.

Kathryn Burcham joins WFXT in Boston as a general assignment reporter.  She has been a general assignment reporter for WSOC in Charlotte for the past three years.

Brandon Walker moves to KPRC in Houston as a reporter.  For the past two years, he was a reporter for News 12 Connecticut.

Nick Monacelli returns home to Detroit and joins WDIV as a general assignment reporter.  He leaves KXTV in Sacramento where he was a reporter and fill-in anchor.

Jarrod Holbrook joins WFTS in Tampa as an investigative reporter.  Previously, he was a freelance reporter for WFXT in Boston.

Rebecca Vargas is promoted to morning anchor at WWSB in Sarasota.  She has been a reporter for the station since October of 2013.

Tyler Berg jumps 148 markets and joins KSTP in Minneapolis as a reporter.  He departs KIFI in Idaho Falls where he was a reporter and fill-in anchor.

Eric Harryman joins WTVJ in Miami as weekday morning anchor.  He has been the primary anchor for KTXL in Sacramento for the past four years.

Gabrielle Karol joins KXTV in Sacramento as an MMJ with a specialty in business.  She had been with Fox Business News in New York City as a reporter.

Emily Pritchard moves to KXTV in Sacramento as a weekend anchor and MMJ.  She left WBND in South Bend where she had been the morning anchor for the past four years.

Adrienne Moore makes a move back home to Sacramento to be an anchor and reporter for KOVR.  Previously she was a weekend anchor and reporter at WJXT in Jacksonville.

Erika Hayes moves to WCNC in Charlotte as the weekend anchor and reporter.  Previously, she was an anchor and reporter for WBTW in Myrtle Beach.

Liz Foster joins the Cox station in Charlotte as the new weekend morning anchor and reporter.  Liz was previously the primary anchor at WICS in Springfield.

Ben Hoover joins the morning team on “Good Day Carolinas” on WJZY, FOX 46 in Charlotte as host.  Previously, Ben was the primary anchor for WIS in Columbia, South Carolina.

Ashley James joins WMAR as morning live desk anchor and reporter.  She leaves WTOL/WUPW in Toledo where she was an evening anchor.

Dan Spehler adds anchor duties at 6 and 7pm in addition to anchoring the 5pm news for WXIN in Indianapolis.

Bryant Somerville joins Post-Dispatch’s WBNS in Columbus as a general assignment reporter.  Previously, he was a reporter for ABC 33/40 in Birmingham.

Mary Ann Martinez heads back to her home state of Texas and joins KENS in San Antonio as a general assignment reporter.  Previously Mary Ann was freelance reporting for WFOR in Miami.

Laura Geller joins WVEC in Norfolk as an investigative reporter.  She leaves WWBT in Richmond where she was an investigative reporter.

Kimberly Curth moves to WVUE in New Orleans as a reporter.  Previously, she was a reporter for WSMV in Nashville.

Kira Miner joins the weather team at KARK in Little Rock as weekend weathercaster.  Most recently, Kira was the weekend morning weathercaster for WBBH in Ft. Myers.

Ethan Calloway joins WJXT in Jacksonville as weekend anchor and reporter.  He leaves KTUL in Tulsa where he has been a reporter and fill-in anchor.

Julian Glover joins WAVE in Louisville as weekend anchor and reporter.  He leaves WFTX in Fort Myers where he was morning reporter and fill-in anchor.

Derrick Rose joins WHAS in Louisville as weekend anchor.  Previously he was a weekend anchor at WPMI in Mobile.

Justin Earley moves to KGNS in Laredo as the evening anchor and managing editor.  Previously, Justin was the primary anchor for KYTX-TV in Tyler.
