Bumped Up the CBS News Food Chain

WBBM (Chicago) Reporter Chris Martinez is being called up to the mother ship. 

Martinez has been with CBS O&O since 2012 is headed to Los Angeles to work for CBS Newspath. He will be a West Coast Correspondent for Newspath. 

Before the Windy City, Martinez worked for nearly a decade as a reporter and anchor for in Tampa.

He starts the new gig in early May.
