Life After TV News: Texas Anchor Going into Sales

Talk about going to the dark side.
KBTX (Bryan, TX) Anchor John Gilbert is leaving the station to start selling commercial time.
Gilbert is moving to sister station (both owned by Gray) to become an Account Executive at KWTX in Waco.
He said that he had been talking with KBTX General Manager Mike Wright for months about making the move to the dark side and now it is finally happening.
His last day at the station is March 13th.
