LA TV Legend Stan Chambers Dies at 91
/Longtime KTLA Reporter Stan Chambers that worked at the station until he was 87, has died.
Chambers the beloved Reporter whose career lasted more than six-decade career at KTLA, making him one of Southern California's most enduringly recognizable faces.
Chambers, who retired from KTLA on his 87th birthday in August 2010 after covering many of Southern California's biggest news stories.
"What I really love about this job is that it's the real world," he told the Los Angeles Times in 1993 when he marked his 46th anniversary at KTLA. "I get more out of it than anyone because I'm right in the middle of it. And I never know what is going to happen next."
Chambers died Today at his home in Holmby Hills, he was 91.
