Adding News in Sacramento

In an effort to get more political dollars coming into the station, KCRA in Sacramento is adding another newscast.

Beginning January 25th, KCRA will start airing a 4PM newscast, anchored by Lisa Gonzales and Brian Heap.

“Research has shown that people are looking for news, no matter what time of day, and our new 4 p.m. newscast will give our viewers even more opportunity to get news and weather information,” KCRA GM Elliott Troshinsky said.

So that's the line we're going with here?
