New ND Named at Georgia Station

WMAZ (Macon) has named a new News Director and she has close ties to the Weekend Weatherman.

Lorra Lynch Jones is the new ND for the CBS affiliate.

She replaces Jeff Ofgang who was the news director from November 2005 to September 2015. Lynch was most recently an evening news anchor for the station's 5PM and 6PM newscast.

She is currently married to Ben Jones, the weeknight meteorologist.

How long before old Ben gets bumped up to weekdays?
