Lester Holt Jams at Nightly X-mass Party

Last week, FTVLIve told you that NBC Night New Anchor Lester Holt sand Joy to the World at the Dateline NBC Christmas party.

Well, Holt kept up the music at the Nightly News holiday party as well.

Page Six says the newsman “grabbed a bass” and joined a staff band at a party for the newscast.

Holt and his wife, Carol, were hosting the “Nightly News” team at an annual bash at 30 Rock, where guests included correspondents like Kate Snow, Harry Smith and Rehema Ellis, as well as Holt’s son Cameron.

“The staff cheered as Lester grabbed his bass and joined a band led by a ‘Nightly News’ teleprompter operator,” said a spy, adding they played, “an Afro-Cuban rendition” of Christmas carol, “Angels We Have Heard on High.”

Earlier, Holt and a committee of judges cast their ballots in a “holiday decorating contest,” in which the staffer with the “winning workspace” won an extra day off.
