Giving a Dying Kid His Wish to Be on TV

FTVLive has been critical of newscasts that waste viewers time with on air marriage proposals, or the putting the News Director's daughter's play on the newscast.

But, sometimes putting someone on TV that really isn't making news is OK in our book.  

7 year old Antonio Ogburn has just a few weeks to live and his wish was to be on TV. Cox owned WHIO did just that and while it wasn't really news, it made a dying kid's day. And for that, the news can wait.
