Age Discrimination Lawsuit against NBC Heads to Court

72 year old Frank Snepp filed an age discrimination lawsuit against NBC News on October 1, 2013.

Today, the case finally heads to court.

From February 2005 to October 1, 2012, Snepp was employed at KNBC as an investigative producer/reporter.

On October 1, 2012, he was fired by KNBC News director Steve Carlston, who informed him that his “content producer position” was being eliminated.

Yet, KNBC was still producing investigative news stories and was keeping much younger investigative producers on staff.  Frank Snepp was 69 years old when he was fired.

Snepp seeks compensatory damages and punitive damages for wrongful termination.

The trial is set to begin at 9:00 AM in Los Angeles Superior Court this morning.
