Morals be Damned, This is the November Book

Back in June when Donald Trump made his remark's about Mexicans rapists and accusing them of bringing crime and drugs to the U.S., NBC was quick to take a stand.

The network kicked him off “Celebrity Apprentice” and banished his Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the network announced righteously.

The network showed that they put people first and denounced Trump and his racist language.

But that was summer time, when no one is watching TV and ratings don't count. Now, we are in the November book and guess what?

Trump will be hosting SNL on....yep......NBC.

You the the, "cornerstones of our values" doesn't count during ratings.

So what does NBC have to say about this about face and change in their moral values?

The Peacock has suddenly gone silent and refuses to talk about Trump on SNL.

But Latino groups are raising their voice and letting NBC about their Trump flip flop.

“‘Saturday Night Live’ is not a news program, it is a cultural touchstone. Providing such a platform for somebody who so clearly holds false and disparaging opinions of so many segments of this country is a dangerous proposition that legitimizes Trump’s hateful views and rewards his hate speech,” National Hispanic Media Coalition president Alex Nogales said.

Trump doesn't seem to be worried about being a dick. In a four second promo for SNL, he says “So let me just say this: Ben Carson is a complete and total loser.”

“I think the presidency is a very serious thing, and I don’t like making light of it,” he told ABC.

NBC could care less if Carson watches, he's outside the demo anyway.

It amazing that a network will sell it's soul all in the name of ratings.
