Sinclair asks Staff to Cut Their Own Pay

In an internal memo sent out to staffers at Sinclair stations and obtained by FTVLive, it is asking employees if they want to cut their own pay for more time off.

Most often when you are hired by a company, one of the benefits is you get paid time off for vacation.

Sinclair is asking their employees, if they want another week off, they can have it, if they give up 1.9% of their salary.

Basically, it is a way for the company to cut staffers pay and save money.

It appears that Sinclair is headed down the slippery slope that if you want vacation time, you're going to pay for it.
