Grand Jury Indicts Texas Reporter in Hit and Run Case

Former KCBD (Lubbock) Reporter Patricia Villacin has been indicted by a grand jury for failure to stop and render aid with serious bodily injury.

Cops say Villacin hit a pedestrian in a station-owned vehicle back in September.

She allegedly told police she pulled into a parking lot after the incident, saw other people tending to the victim and believed she was free to leave.

The victim, Taylor Hammond suffered an ankle fracture as a result of the incident.

Villacin parted ways with the station shortly after the accident.
