Minneapolis Reporter Arrested While Covering Protest

KMSP Reporter Jack Highberger was arrested last night while covering a protest on a Twin Cities highway. 

Highberger was covering a group of protesters who shut down Interstate 94, protesting the shooting death of Jamar Clark was shot during a scuffle with police over the weekend.

As some of you may know, I was arrested this evening while covering a protest for Fox 9. I was processed(fingerprints & mugshot) and charged with a crime.Like all the other journalists on the side of I-94 Monday night, I was there for one reason. To do my job. I have no intention of stopping.

There is no doubt that Highberger seemed to revel in the fact that he was arrested.
