Atlanta Anchor Heads to CBS News

WXIA Anchor DeMarco Morgan is being called up to the big leagues and a job at CBS News.
CBS News has hired Morgan as a Correspondent that will be based in New York City.
Morgan joins CBS from WXIA in Atlanta, where he has been a reporter and co-anchor of the station’s 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM weekday newscasts since 2012.
Previously, Morgan worked as a weekend anchor for WNBC TV in New York while also serving as a cut-in anchor for MSNBC. Prior to that, Morgan worked as a weekday evening anchor and reporter at WTVJ TV in Miami, at WISN TV in Wisconsin, and at WJTV TV in Jackson, Mississippi.
He starts his gig at CBS later this year.
