Back on September 15th, FTVLive reported that WJLA Reporter Kris Van Cleave was leaving the station and was headed to CBS Newspath. 

Yesterday, CBS finally got around to making that news official.

In a press release, CBS writes:

Kris Van Cleave has been named a correspondent for CBS Newspath, the Network’s 24-hour television newsgathering service for CBS stations and broadcasters around the world.  He will be based in New York City, and his appointment is effective immediately.
