Out The Door in Greenville

After just 2 years, WNCT (Greenville, N.C.) Anchor Jeff Varner is out as the anchor of the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.

The former 'Survivor' contestant replaced popular Anchor Allan Hoffman, who is retired after more than two decades at the station.

Insiders at the station tell FTVLive that Varner is leaving to take care of his mother who is suffering from breast cancer.
