Anchor Busted Down to Reporter in Chicago

Word is that WFLD's Alexa Helms has been demoted from Anchor to Reporter, just 3 short months after her hiring. 

Helms joined the Fox O&O from WSVN in Miami, where she worked as the weekend Anchor. 

Robert Feder says that until a permanent replacement is named, Lisa Chavarria, Melody Mendez and Tisha Lewis will rotate filling in on Fox 32’s Saturday and Sunday newscasts alongside Larry Yellen.

Feder writes that she clearly lacked the performance skills, journalistic experience or knowledge of current events to handle the job.

After her quick demotion, her agent Ken Lindner is not talking.
