Another One Suspended from ESPN
/It seems not a week goes by without someone being suspended at ESPN.
The latest to get sent to the bench is host Max Kellerman after he admitted Monday on ESPN-LA Radio show Mason & Ireland that he hit his then-girlfriend, Erin, several years ago. Max and Erin have now been married for 20 years.
"Max Kellerman will return to ESPNLA Radio and SportsNationon Thursday," ESPN said in a statement.
Max explained in the story that he and Erin were at a college party and were drunk at the time. Max said that Erin slapped him, and so he slapped her back.
Kellerman is the third ESPN host to be suspended in the past two weeks and the second to be suspended for remarks related to domestic violence. Stephen A. Smith landed a week-long suspension on July 29 after making comments about NFL player Ray Rice's suspension for assaulting his girlfriend. Earlier this week, Dan Le Batard received a two-day suspension for putting up a Miami billboard that mocks NBA star LeBron James.
Tine in next week to see which ESPN personality will be suspended.
