Ax Swings at Meredith's Phoenix Duop

Phoenix insiders tell FTVLive that the ax has begun swinging at newly purchased Meredith station KTVK.

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that KTVK GM Nick Nicholson's job was eliminated. Sources now tell FTVLive that the staff in KTVK's business office were told they are no longer needed.

The station is merging operations with KPHO. Word is that KPHO will be leaving their current building and moving in with KTVK.

As FTVLIve told you, KPHO GM Ed Munson is overseeing both stations and has been splitting his time between the two properties.

When KPHO moves over to KTVK, Munson's  office view will be of Camelback Mountain - at KPHO - it’s a parking lot.

Gee... I wonder why they decided to move into KTVK's building?
