A parking garage in Rosslyn, Virginia will soon be demolished.

The garage holds a lot of journalism history. It is where FBI official then known as Deep Throat spilled the Watergate secrets on President Nixon to Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward.

A plaque commemorating Woodward and Deep Throat — revealed as former FBI associate director Mark Felt in 2005 — will remain in place.

On a side note, another parking garage near Buffalo, NY..... was also refereed to as the deep throat parking garage. The name was given by a group of us kids.

It had nothing to do with President Nixon and everything to do with follow high school senior Anne Marie Stevens.

I wonder what she's doing now? That girl had talent.
