Even the President Can't Help New Day's Numbers

CNN's New Day thought they had a blockbuster show planned. 

Jake Tapper was sitting down with President Obama and Chris Cuomo was interviewing Dennis Rodman while he's in rehab.

Many inside CNN thought this show would help bump the sagging ratings......it didn't.

New Day pulled a tiny 57,000 in the demo and just 204,000 viewers overall. Fox News had more viewers in the demo, than New Day's total viewership.

MSNBC's Morning Joe basically doubled CNN's numbers in both total and demos and Robin Meade over on HLN also beat New Day. 

As FTVLive FIRST reported, CNN boss Jeff Zucker is looking to tweak the struggling morning program to try and get it out of the ratings basement.
