Anchor Up and Quits in the Middle of the Book

Rob Hudson, an anchor at WDAZ in Grand Forks isn't waiting for the Feb book to end, he's quitting now.  

Hudson has been at the station a little more than a year.

The station manager, Rob Horken, said he received an email from Hudson on Monday that said “effective immediately, I resign from my position as news anchor and producer at WDAZ.”

Horken said he replied that he accepted the resignation.

Asked if Hudson indicated a reason for quitting, Horken said all he got was the notice of the resignation.

The station has started a search for a new replacement.
