Police Release Sketch of Man that Shot Texas Weatherman

The Texas Department of Public Safety released a sketch Thursday afternoon of the man they believe shot 35-year-old KCEN-HD Meteorologist Patrick Crawford.

The search for the suspect has been ongoing since Wednesday morning when Crawford was shot in the KCEN parking lot.

Crawford remains in the hospital but is in stable condition and is recovering well at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

"So far he is on target if not moving ahead of schedule," said Dr. Matthew Davis at a new conference Thursday afternoon.

Dr. Davis said Crawford was a little bit sleepy but happy and has had very pleasant interactions with nurses and staff.
