Daly signed on the Rhode Island airwaves in 1981 and is believed to be the longest serving TV Reporter in the state. Daly will retire from WPRI where he has worked since 2002.

Daly comes from a family of reporters and got his start in broadcast at NBC Washington at the age 17 where he worked as a newsroom assistant.

Daly’s final broadcast will be on December 31.
