It appears that even Don Lemon has figured out that he crossed the line with his interview last night with Joan Tarshis, one of the women that has accused Bill Cosby of rape.

Lemon told the accuser, "You -- you know, there are ways not to perform oral sex if you didn't want to do it."

Social media was aghast that Lemon would basically blame a rape victim for being raped.

Now, Lemon is doing his best to spin his comments. Today on CNN, Lemon said, "“I would never want to suggest that any victim could have prevented a rape."

But that is exactly what he was saying.

Lemon could not even be straight up with his apology.

"If my question to her (Tarshis) struck anyone as insensitive, I am sorry, as that was certainly not my intention,” Lemon said.

You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube Don. Even if you use your teeth.
