Pittsburgh Sports Guy Leaves Station for Aereo TV

It looks like Aereo TV is doing more than rebroadcasting the signals of TV stations, they are also taking some of the talent.​

At least that's what has happened in Pittsburgh.​

FTVLive hears that WTAE sports anchor John Meyer has left the Hearst station for a sales position with Aereo TV.  Meyer was Weekday mornings sports anchor at the station.

Aereo got it's start in New York City and is now moving into another 2 dozen markets.  The company's service picks up broadcast signals and transmits them to mobile devices.

Networks have been doing all they can to try and shutdown the service. ​
