The NY Daily News reports that the 70-year-old actor was photographed Monday on the Atlanta set of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues,” confirming reports that he’s joined the cast of the sequel to the hit 2004 Will Ferrell comedy.
Ford will play an iconic veteran national anchorman, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He does have on air news experience of a sort, having already starred as a crotchety morning show anchor in 2010’s “Morning Glory.”
