The Big Boss Coming to Rochester Station

No matter if you work in a station in a small market or a big market.... You never like to get word that the big wig from Corporate is coming into town.​

At WROC the Nexstar station in Rochester, the staff has been told that they must attend a mandatory meeting on Friday.​

Nexstar President and CEO Perry Sook is coming to the station. Gulp.... ​

Here's the internal memo sent to the staff:​

“All,

Please arrange your schedules to accommodate a general staff meeting to be held this Friday, March 14 at 10:30am in the main studio. Nexstar President and CEO Perry Sook will be our guest for the meeting which is mandatory. Please let me know if you have any questions.
