Nexstar is Buying Another Fresno Station

Nexstar Broadcasting purchased KGPE in the Fresno market (they close on that deal on March 1st) from Newport, but the company is not stopping there.

Sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar just announced that they are going to buy KSEE in Fresno.

KGPE is the CBS Affiliate, while KSEE is the NBC Affiliate. KSEE is now owned by Granite Broadcasting.

Fresno is the 55 TV Market.

Once Nexstar completes the purchase of KSEE, layoffs can be expected.
