Seriously Injured Weatherman Charged in Crash

WSET Weatherman Jamey Singelton lays in intensive care in Norfolk Hospital. 

He was hurt when his car crossed the road and smashed head on into a delivery truck.​

Singelton has now been charged in the crash. ​

Authorities have charged the meteorologist following the Tuesday traffic crash that sent three men to the hospital.  

Singleton was cited with a single count of reckless driving, said Sgt. Rob Carpentieri, state police spokesman.

“Supposedly he was eating breakfast and wasn’t paying attention to the road,” Carpentieri said.
