Sarah Palin Reacts to Bashir Getting Canned

Sarah Palin said that she forgave Martin Bashir for the tasteless remarks he made about her. 

But, this morning she seemed very pleased that Bashir is out of a job.

“It was refreshing to see, though, that many in the media did come out and say, ‘Look, our standards have to be higher than this,” Palin said on this morning's Fox and Friends. 

Palin pointed out that after years she was used to these kinds of attacks.

Fox Host Steve Doocy hinted that NBC agreed with the comments that Bashir made about Palin. “One of the things about his attack is it was scripted,” Doocy observed. “The people at NBC had a chance to review it and said – they obviously, or apparently, all agreed.”

How Doocy knows that those comments were scripted and that NBC signed off on them, he didn't say.
