Starting next week, WIVB in Buffalo is expanding their 10 O'Clock Newcast on sister station WNLO from 30 minutes to an hour.

According to an email to the staff from News Director Joe Schlaerth, the plan with the new half hour is to have more national, international and sports news and highlight News 4 investigations, Call 4 Action reports and health news from Dr. Peter Ostrow.

Diana Fairbanks anchors the 10 p.m. news.

The email doesn't say who is going to anchor the extra half hour but I would expect that Fairbanks is likely to do so.
