Some staffers at WNBC were confused by the costume general manager Michael Jack wore to the station’s annual Halloween party.

“He came dressed as Rick James, but some people didn’t recognize him as Rick James and thought he was a pimp,” an insider tells Page Six

“Some women in the office were upset,” added our source of the outfit. “They thought it was in really poor taste.” 

FTVLive would like to point out that Rick James like WNBC's news ratings has been dead since 2004. 

So Jacks's costume was very appropriate.
