Bumped up at CBS News

Chris Andaya has been promoted to Vice President, Business Affairs for CBS News, it was announced by CBS News Chairman and 60 MINUTES Executive Producer Jeff Fager and CBS News President David Rhodes.  His appointment is effective immediately.

In this role, Andaya works closely with the department heads across CBS News platforms and he oversees all business matters for the Business Affairs and Rights & Clearance departments, including talent, consultants, licensing and production agreements. Andaya also oversees all media clearances for 60 MINUTES, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY, CBS THIS MORNING, 48 HOURS, CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD and FACE THE NATION WITH BOB SCHIEFFER.

During his tenure at CBS News, Andaya has held a series of significant positions, while also building impeccable relationships throughout the industry. Most recently, Andaya was Senior Executive Director, Business Affairs, where he was liaison between Business Affairs and all other departments, including Affiliate Relations, Promotions, CBS Interactive and Human Resources. Andaya held the positions of Executive Director, Director and Associate Director of Business Affairs.  Before that, Andaya was Manager and Assistant Manager for Rights and Clearances.
