Grin and Bear it

We all know that Southern California station love police chases. 

It really doesn't matter what the cops are chasing, stations are going to cover it. 

Yesterday's big police chase was not a bank robber, a thief or a speeder.... it was a bear. 

Stations scrambled news choppers and crews as cops and wild life officials chased one lonely black bear around Southern California. 

Also, if you look at the screen grab above from KTLA, check out the traffic alert at the bottom of the page.   Construction work is tying up traffic on....wait for it.... Smokey Bear Road.

We're guessing that the TV consultants has told SoCal stations they need more bears in the newscast.
