Want to Play in Peoria?

WEEK / WHOI in Peoria, Illinois is looking for a Weekend Weather Anchor, but you better be able to do more than just that.

According to the station's job posting, they want :

A weather anchor to anchor our weekend newscasts, fill-in for other weathercasters and also report and/or anchor as needed. 

We’re searching for an energetic and knowledgeable weathercaster who knows the importance of delivering accurate and informative forecasts to viewers. We operate with AccuWeather Cinema Live HD system and the AccuWeather Galileo system at the present time. 

Our winning candidate must have a strong and energetic delivery, be willing to deliver weathercasts over extended periods of breaking weather news and assist the Chief Meteorologist. 

Our successful candidate must also be a creative journalist who will help write, produce and report news in Central Illinois. 

Candidates should have 1-2 years of weather, reporting and/or anchoring experience and be able to cover a variety of assignments. We are looking for a strong writer and compelling story teller who can generate original story ideas. Experience producing and computer skills as well as advanced Internet skills are a real plus. 

So in other words work all the time, do everything and get a small paycheck.
