WHAM (Rochester) Anchor Stephannie Joseph told viewers who tuned into watch the news, that she wanted to “Start with some personal news…” Joseph told viewers that she was leaving the station, although she was still going to work a few more days.

She said it was her first job out of college and as for what’s next? “Stay tuned…” she said.

Dose she really believe after anchoring 2 years at the station, that viewers are going to keep tuning in to see where she is headed? While you might say “Stay tuned….” on a social media post, to try and get more clicks, I’m not sure that is something you see on air.

Maybe they didn’t teach this in school, but TV Anchors should report the news and not try and be the news.
