A Journalist Has Entered the Chat

I love technology and have been an early adopter with a lot of hardware and software. I have a robot that helps me around the house, and I haven’t turned on a light switch in years.

I joined Twitter long before most people and I have had a Gmail account since day one.

That all being said, there are parts of technology I am not a fan of. I have never liked “group chats” as I have never liked meetings. A group chat is just a meeting online, and more often than not, it’s a huge waste of time.

I have felt that group chats are (mostly) a bad idea, especially when you’re making war plans.

By now, I’m sure you have heard that United States top officials accidentally shared minute-by-minute war plans with Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor and Chief of The Atlantic.

While it would not surprise me if Sean Hannity was in the chat (despite that being wrong as well), it was shocking that a non-Trump media supporter was in on the chat.

Even more worrisome, none of the US Officials even knew he was invited.

Just imagine the uproar at Fox News if this happened under Joe Biden. I can assure you this would be the hot topic and Fox for days and maybe even weeks.

Instead, Fox News host Jesse Watters played off by saying, “We have all texted the wrong person before.” Maybe that’s true, maybe not, but I can assure you, none of us have texted war plans to the wrong person.

While many in the media and bending over backwards to kiss the ring of Donald Trump, shit like this is happening.

Hopefully, more media will start opening their eyes and report on stuff like this.

Hopefully….
