A New Boss in the Burgh
/Julie Eisenman has been appointed as the new president and general manager of CBS Pittsburgh, which includes KDKA-TV, KDKA+, and the stations’ digital platforms. She will take over the role on April 7, succeeding Chris Cotugno, who is retiring after more than 20 years at KDKA, including nearly six years as general manager. Eisenman will report to Jennifer Mitchell, president of CBS Stations and CBS News and Stations Digital.
Eisenman previously served as general manager and president at WNEP, an ABC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. During her tenure, she oversaw operations and led the station to record-breaking political revenue in 2024. She is recognized for her ability to foster collaborative work environments and drive business growth.
As a native of western Pennsylvania, Eisenman expressed enthusiasm about joining CBS Pittsburgh, citing the station's history and community ties. She emphasized her commitment to building on KDKA’s legacy while focusing on content expansion and innovation across platforms. Eisenman’s appointment comes as CBS Pittsburgh aims to strengthen its presence in broadcast, streaming, and digital media.
