Another One Leaving the Business

Longtime WAPT (Jackson) Anchor/Reporter Scott Simmons is said to be leaving the East station.

A source tells FTVLive that Simmons has taken a job with the state.

He has been with been with the station for over 2 decades. When he worked at WDSU (New Orleans) he was voted Reporter of the Year by the Louisiana Associated Press.

The business losses another good one.
