The only local news station in Alexandria, LA, is Gray’s KALB.

The station recently reported that Mayor Rich Dupree of Pineville, LA was resigning following misconduct reports.

The station reported that the married Mayor was having a sexual relationship with a city secretary.

The Mayor has decided not to seek re-election after the scandal broke.

On Friday, the station celebrated “KALB Day” for the station’s 70th anniversary.

It included a proclamation from the same mayor involved in the scandal. KALB News Director Carli Luca even posed with the mayor for a picture, and then they posted it on social media.
