Another Dual GM Job at CBS

It appears that CBS thinks that the General Manager of a TV station is a part-time job.

Jennifer Lyons not only oversees WBBM in Chicago, but she also heads up WWJ in Detroit.

We told you yesterday that WCBS General Manager Johnny Green will take on a new role of General Manager of CBS Boston’s WBZ. He will continue to head up WCBS as well.

Now, word is that Tim Wieland the GM on KCNC in Denver, will oversee KCBS/KCAL in LA.

CBS is one of the most top heavy companies when it comes to managers, yet now the GM’s are being asked to pull double duty.

Crazy.
