Another Two For One at CBS

FTVLive has told you how WBBM (Chicago) General Manager Jennifer Lyons is also the GM of the CBS station in Detroit.

It seems odd to us, as CBS seems to be so bloated in managment, that they would have a major market GM overseeing stations in different markets.

But, Lyons isn’t the only one to be pulling double duty.

CBS announced that WCBS General Manager Johnny Green will take on a new role of General Manager of CBS Boston’s WBZ. He will continue to head up WCBS as well.

After all these years, has CBS figured out that the role of General Manager is a part-time job, and they can split the work between two stations?
