Philly Anchor Diagnosed with Cancer

Fox Philly morning Weather Anchor Sue Serio will be off-air for about a month following a stage-one breast cancer diagnosis.

Serio said she learned about the lump from a routine mammogram earlier this month.

“I had my diagnosis, followed by these words: it’s very, very small, and you’re going to be fine,” Serio said, “My prognosis is excellent.”

She has been with The Firm’s station since 1997.
