The Deal is a Go

Despite Byron Allen saying he was interested in buying Paramount, the shopping window is now closed.

Paramount announced that the deal with Skydance is expected to close in the first half of 2025.

What is still the big question is what Skydance will do with CBS and the CBS owned stations?

Skydance has said that they want to pour money into Paramounts streaming operations, but there has not been much talk about CBS.

Paramount has already started shopping the non-CBS stations that they own.

As of now, the CBS employees are still wondering about their future.
