Was this the quietest transition of power in TV history?

As FTVLive told you, Tegna hired Michael Steib to replace Dave Lougee as the ceo of the company.

At the time, Tegna said that Steib, who perviously worked for an online platform for discovering and collecting art, would be taking over from Lougee on August 12th.

If that happened, Steib has been the new TEgna CEO for a week, and we’ve heard nothing.

Did he address the staff?

Has anyone noticed?
