Maybe it is the Anchor….

Back in October of 2022, FTVLive told you that Scripps-owned WCPO had cut ties with longtime Anchor Julie O'Neill.

Back in July of last year, O’Neill sued Scripps and WCPO for age discrimination.

O’Neill had landed another Anchor job, and she didn’t even have to leave the market.

O’Neill landed across the street at Gray’s WXIX, but just months into that job, she is gone again.

“Julie O’Neill is no longer with WXIX Fox 19. We wish her the best,” said an internal memo to the staff from WXIX GM Jennifer Rieffer.

While WXIX is not saying much about O’Neill’s parting less than a year in, I think the Scripps lawyers will be asking some questions as her case against the company moves forward.
