Sources tell FTVLive that WNBC has cut ties with longtime Photographer Daniel Prado.

A source tells FTVLive that WNBC bosses were tipped off when someone sent in a link to management which shows Prado in a news truck doing these YouTube videos where he is pitching cryptocurrencies.

The screenshot above is from this video, where he appears to be inside a live truck. The video was a live stream, and it went on for over an hour and a half.

Many in TV news have a side hustle, but if you’re doing that on your station’s time, from their live truck, you have crossed the line.

He also seems not to hide his political opinions on social media.
